This series was inspired by the tropical rainy season, and painted at night during a lightening storm. The forms are gestural, and reminiscent of trees silhouetted against the bright stormy sky. Each mark reflects unpredictable movement, capturing the essence of the storm in a dynamic and spontaneous way. The interplay of light and shadow evokes a sense of awe and drama, inviting viewers to immerse themselves in the raw and powerful beauty of a stormy night. This series conveys the intense emotions and natural splendor witnessed during tropical rainstorms.
